St Edmund Hall is seeking an experienced and proactive Governance Manager to support the effective administration, governance and compliance of one of Oxford's most historic colleges. Reporting to the Finance Bursar, the Governance Manager will play a key role in supporting the Governing Body and a wide range of College committees, maintaining robust governance frameworks, managing policies and risk registers, coordinating Freedom of Information and Data Protection processes, and driving continuous improvement in governance practice.

Requirements

  • Significant administrative experience in a comparable setting (higher education, a charity, or the public sector).
  • Sound understanding of governance and committee procedures.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence to work with senior stakeholders across the College.
