The predicted salary is between 32916 - 51048 £ per year.

Temporary position until 31 August 2027, required from 1 September 2026. Qualified teachers will be paid according to the Pay Scale M1 – UPS3 (£32,916 – £51,048 per annum).

Responsibilities

  • Teach music to pupils at all year groups, with the additional responsibility to teach drama as required.
  • Deliver stagecraft, performance and musical‑theatre activities and collaborate with colleagues to provide pupils with a successful experience of the performing arts, including the school’s annual musical‑theatre productions.
  • Enthuse, engage and inspire pupils, maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour and ensuring classroom practice meets the school’s commitment to raising attainment.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher with experience or aptitude in both music and drama instruction.
  • If an Early‑Career Teacher (ECT) or experienced practitioner, a demonstrated commitment to raising achievement through excellent classroom practice is essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge, teamwork ability, personal motivation and ambition.
