Overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic andflexible Cover Supervisor to coordinate and allocate daily cover arrangementsfor planned and unplanned staff absence.The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating atimetable and working with children. Excellent time management, organisationalskills and working to deadlines is essential for this post. The role involves2/3 classroom cover and 1/3 cover supervisor duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of excellent classroom cover (2/3 ofrole).
- Managing and organising cover arrangements forplanned and unplanned staff absences, both teaching and non-teaching (1/3 ofrole).
- Mentoring of supply and cover staff.
- Safeguarding, health & safety, andbehaviour management.
- Contribution to multi-disciplinary andcollaborative working.
- Line management and mentoring of supply staff,both teaching and non-teaching.
