We are looking for a reliable, honest and hard-working groundsman/warden to join our team at St. David's Park, Red Wharf Bay, LL75 8RJ. Located just outside Pentraeth on the coast of Anglesey, St. David's Park holds a 5-star grading. You will be working for St. David's Leisure Ltd, a family-owned holiday park operator with 4 parks, all located in North Wales.
This role is offered on a permanent basis, over 3-5 days per week (hrs) to include weekends. Working as part of our dedicated grounds maintenance team, your daily work will vary hugely. Whilst the role is focused on the upkeep and maintenance of the park grounds (grass cutting, strimming, weeding etc.), there is also significant variety to be found in the role.
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Swimming pool operations
- Caravan moves
- General upkeep and maintenance of park facilities and infrastructure
- Tools and equipment maintenance
Working under the guidance of our senior grounds and maintenance manager, you will need to be able to plan, schedule and coordinate your work with your colleagues, utilising your skills, knowledge and initiative as necessary.
The role is a live-in one, where the applicant will be required to carry out warden duties such as park walks out-of-hours. The applicant will also be the holder of the emergency phone out-of-hours.
Pay rates depend on experience. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. It is important that the applicant is active and physically fit, and willing to work outdoors in all weathers. A full, clean driving license is essential.
