Purpose of the role
As Curriculum Leader for Mathematics, you will provide strong and effective leadership of the Mathematics department, driving forward standards of teaching and learning to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential. You will lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of the Mathematics curriculum, ensuring it is ambitious, inclusive and aligned with whole‑school priorities. The role includes monitoring pupil progress, developing staff, and contributing strategically to school improvement. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, modelling excellent teaching and inspiring both pupils and colleagues.

- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 and a passion for subject education.

- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and works effectively as part of a team.
