St Cuthbert’s RC High School are seeking to appoint an exceptional Curriculum Leader – English. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust. This key leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and drive excellence in English, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement across key stages 3 and 4.
Purpose of the role: As Curriculum Leader for English, you will provide strong and effective leadership of the English department, driving forward standards of teaching and learning to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential. You will lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of the English curriculum, ensuring it is ambitious, inclusive and aligned with whole-school priorities. The role includes monitoring pupil progress, developing staff, and contributing strategically to school improvement. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, modelling excellent teaching and inspiring both pupils and colleagues.
