Purpose of the role: As Curriculum Leader for Religious Education, you will provide strong and effective leadership of the RE department, driving forward standards of teaching and learning to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential. You will lead on the development, implementation and evaluation of the RE curriculum, ensuring it is ambitious, inclusive and aligned with whole‑school priorities. The role includes monitoring pupil progress, developing staff, and contributing strategically to school improvement. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, modelling excellent teaching and inspiring both pupils and colleagues.

  • Is an outstanding teacher of subject with a strong track record of securing excellent outcomes.
  • Has the ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team to achieve high standards.
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 and a passion for subject education.
