St. Cuthbert's RC High School is currently seeking an Operational Safeguarding Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust. We are seeking an individual who has the ability to:
- Work as part of the Behaviour Support Team.
- Investigate and call home regarding incidents of poor behaviour.
- Manage the day‑to‑day behaviour of students in ensuring the school’s behaviour policy is adhered to.
- Resolve issues between students and facilitate restorative justice where there are issues between students and staff.
- Conduct ‘On Calls’ to remove students from class where necessary.
- Liaise with colleagues regarding SEND & Safeguarding and external partners.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all behaviour incidents.
- Be on duty as directed.
