St Cuthbert's RC High School is currently seeking an Assistant SENDCo. This is an exciting opportunity to join the school at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

The successful candidate will support the SENDCo in the effective operational delivery, coordination and administration of SEND provision across the school, ensuring that pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive appropriate, timely, and well-coordinated support in line with the SEND Code of Practice, Trust policies and statutory requirements.

We are seeking an individual who has:

  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet statutory deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
