About the role....
Join our dedicated Retail Team and play a vital role as the public face of the Hospice for our retail customers. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow our reputation and profile by delivering outstanding customer service, while supporting the important work of the Hospice.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for:
- Assist across our 8 charity shops to allow an effective daily operation. This will be in different shops as and when required to cover holidays, absence and days off.
- Work with the volunteer team to effectively achieve the sales budget and control costs.
- Work with the team to deliver excellent customer service to customers, donors and supporters, to promote the profile of the Hospice.
- Where there is no requirement for cover in any given week the Relief Retail Assistant will work alongside the Online time to manage and list donations at the Meadowfield outlet.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a retail environment.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
- Is highly organised, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, with a positive and enthusiastic approach.
