Hours: 37 hours over a 7 day rota.

The post involves working in a women’s service supporting clients who have experienced trauma. We’re launching a new supported living service in Newcastle offering safe, stable accommodation and tailored support for women at risk of homelessness, exploitation, or re-offending.
About The Role
- Deliver 1:1 and group support sessions focused on independent living, tenancy preparation, and employment skills
- Develop and review personalised support plans
- Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive environment
- Build positive relationships with external agencies (e.g. probation, mental health, recovery services)
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and risk management plans
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development
About You
- Experience supporting vulnerable women (e.g. homelessness, criminal justice, mental health, substance misuse, learning disabilities)
- A trauma‑informed and strengths‑based approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Flexible and willing to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A relevant qualification or training in social care or support work (desirable)
