We are looking for a Food and Beverage Coordinator to coordinate the daily delivery of safe, high-quality food and beverage services within our hospice environment, ensuring full compliance with food safety, allergen management, microbiological personal hygiene, and infection control standards.
The post holder will manage and coordinate catering volunteers and two part-time members of staff, including rota planning and task allocation, ensuring compassionate, patient-centred service that meets clinical and dietary requirements.
Other responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate daily catering and beverage service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ensure meals are delivered to the ward respectfully, compassionately, and in accordance with hospice values.
- Liaise with catering manager, head chef, dietitian, nursing staff, and clinical teams regarding dietary needs and changes.
- Ensure strict adherence to HACCP and food safety management systems.
This post requires the post holder to have a criminal record check. An application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before the successful candidate can begin in post. The Hospice will pay/reimburse the cost of this check.
