15 hours per week (2 days per week)

Starting Salary £27,802 WTE - pro rata, pa (based on 37.5 hours per week) (rising to Step 2 £28,946 following 12 month satisfactory performance review)

The Hospice Cafés and trading outlets help raise vital income for the charity and are operated to provide a warm, friendly and inclusive environment that reflects our values. New goods are sold in our cafés, charity shops and online.

Working as part of the Income Generation Team and supporting the delivery of income generation objectives, this role will involve stock management of all products which are sold within our two cafés, gift shops and online.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining good stock levels.
  • Merchandising and displaying stock in the various sites and online.
  • Arranging for the receipt of deliveries of goods.
  • Keeping required sites updated.
  • Ensuring processes are in place to ensure online orders are dealt with in a timely and efficient way.
  • Working with volunteers and staff members across all relevant sites in the delivery of the role.

You will be required to drive between sites, so a full UK driving licence and access to a car will be required.

Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for driving between sites.
  • Criminal Record Check conducted through Disclosure Scotland, which will be paid/reimbursed by the Hospice before the successful candidate can begin in post.
