Salary: Thurrock Living Wage (£14,172.74 actual salary per annum)

25 hours per week Monday - Friday 9:30am - 2:30pm

38 weeks of the year - term time plus inset days

2 year Fixed Term contract to 31st August 2028

Start Date: 1st September 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dependable team member who will contribute to the smooth running of the school by ensuring high standards of cleaning. Working together with our existing cleaning staff and caretaker to ensure a clean and safe environment within our school.

Main duties include:

  • Washing, polishing, mopping, dusting etc.
  • Window cleaning
  • Sanitary appliance cleaning
  • Operating domestic & industrial cleaning equipment after any appropriate training
  • Keeping equipment and storage areas in a clean and safe condition
  • Undertaking any training as required
  • Work within the Health & Safety and Safeguarding guidelines of the school.
