Year 2 Class Teacher

Location: Camden

Salary: MPS1-6 (depending on experience)

Start date: September 2024

Your new school

This Year 2 Class Teacher is based within a school that believes all children have a right to an excellent education, giving them the best life chances. This is an inclusive, caring school where every child matters. The school promotes a curriculum that encourages children to become curious, autonomous learners who are inspired and stimulated.

Your new role

As a Year 2 Class Teacher you will be required to plan and deliver schemes of work in line with the national curriculum and record observations of the pupils. You will also need practice good behaviour management within a classroom and display the ability to adapt your teaching practice to fit your pupils needs. It is vital that you follow the school’s policies and procedures within your day-to-day teaching practice.

What you will need to succeed

• You will need to hold QTS and a PGCE
• Experience working within a Primary classroom
• Good behaviour management and organisational skills
