Prospero Teaching is working alongside a top-performing Independent High school in Auckland, which is looking for a Mathematics Teacher for a Term 1, January 2027 start. The school is looking for a personable and engaging teacher who can set out creative lessons that will engage their students. The school is based in the heart of Auckland CBD. The school itself is well-resourced, and they have a strong and supportive leadership team in place. The school is happy to consider teachers of all experience levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's of Education, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Education
  • Be eligible to work and teach in New Zealand
  • Received or in the process of applying for a NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority)
  • Received or in the process of registering for EC15 (Education Council)
  • Be willing to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check
  • Be able to offer two professional teaching references covering the last two years
