The school is recruiting qualified Math & Science teachers who are confident and comfortable teaching all year groups.
The ideal candidate will be keen on raising achievement standards by developing the students cognitively, emotionally and socially.
They will be an exemplary role model through their teaching, guidance, professional knowledge and behaviour, and encourage students to reach their full potential.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Math or Sciences, be encouraging, have a passion for supporting young people, have the ability to teach innovatively and creatively and have a positive attitude.
To qualify, you will
- Have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with specialism in Mathematics or Sciences
- Be eligible to work in the UK (through a UK or European passport, etc.)
- Be eligible for QTS
- Provide at least two teaching references covering the last two years
- Successfully undergo a Certified Criminal Record Check (RCMP fingerprint check)
- Have up-to-date Safeguarding training within the past year (Prospero provides accredited CPD training)
- Have high standards and expectations
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be able to plan, prepare and teach exciting, engaging, differentiated lessons that are in line with the school ethos
- Have the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Be willing to work full-time hours
