The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
To teach History to students on the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma programme (years 12 and 13) and the Pre-IB programme (year 11) for one academic year to provide cover for a maternity leave absence. To maintain and improve the quality of educational provision within the subject area and contribute to the general academic direction and operation of the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching History at higher and standard levels (higher students have four hours teaching a week and standard students have three hours a week)
- Possibly teaching History to Pre-IB students
- Leading an extra-curricular CAS activity group
Personal Tutor
There may also be an additional role as a Personal Tutor for approximately 12 students. While every effort has been made to describe the main duties and responsibilities of the post, each individual task necessary for the successful performance of the role may not be specifically identified. The Teacher of History may therefore be required to undertake other tasks and duties that are commensurate with the grade and nature of the role and/or in the reasonable discretion of the College.
