St Clair is looking for a Bakery/Kitchen Lead to join our team. St Clair is an independent, upmarket coffee shop in the heart of Holland Park, West London. We serve a selection of in-house baked goods alongside a focused brunch menu, in a lively setting that welcomes both locals and visitors.
We are looking for someone creative, organised, and genuinely passionate about baking, with experience in a bakery or similar food preparation environment. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for developing and overseeing our food menu. This is a hands-on role, working five days on site, with shifts from 6:30am to 3pm. Candidates must be available to work weekends.
As Lead Baker, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistency, quality, and smooth service. You will also bring fresh ideas to the table, contributing to menu development while maintaining the core items our customers love. You will be working closely with junior bakers and prep assistants, supporting a collaborative and positive kitchen environment. The role also includes periods of working independently in the kitchen during quieter hours.
Salary is competitive and based on experience. This role will be filled as soon as the perfect candidate is found. Applicants must have UK right to work permits.
