Nursery Early Years Childcare Manager in Wembley

St Christopher’s Nursery is looking to recruit a Nursery Leader. If you are a great team player with recent experience of working in a Preschool/Nursery setting and would like to be part of a thriving nursery with a real family feel, make the move to St Christopher’s.

The Nursery Leader will be influential in the continued growth at St Christopher’s. Working alongside the Headteacher, you will be responsible for the development and growth of staff as well as demonstrating excellent childcare practices. You will be heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the nursery.

We are looking for a fantastic Nursery Leader who can:

• Demonstrate excellent practice in delivering the early years curriculum.
• Promote the values of the nursery to all staff, parents, and children.
• Assist with training and development of staff to fulfil their potential.

The successful Nursery Leader should be passionate about all areas of children’s learning.

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification in early years is desirable.
• Recent experience within a childcare setting.
• Great passion for child development and a good working knowledge of the EYFS 0-5 years curriculum.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidance.
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
• Proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
• Ability to deliver a high standard of childcare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work productively with pupils, colleagues, parents, and outside agencies.
• Excellent planning, organising, and time management skills.
