Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistant – St Peter’s CofE Primary School, Plymouth
Contract Term: Fixed Term (until 31/08/2026 initially)
Hours: 27.50 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Grade SC Level 2 SCP 3-5 Starting salary £15,923 (£24,796 FTE)
Weeks per annum: 39 weeks per year – term time

About the role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our collaborative academy, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect. The role is to provide targeted support for pupils with SEND in the reception class, under the guidance of a Class Teacher. Experience with SEND would be an advantage.
About the school
At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peters Church. A strength of our school is its size: we are a small school with currently 162 children on roll, including a nursery. It means we know all our children and families well and can make sure that we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values - respecting environment.
