1:1 Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant - St Peter’s CofE Primary School, Plymouth

Contract Term: Fixed Term until 31/8/27.

Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Salary: Grade SC Level 2 SCP 4-7 Starting salary £17,643 (£25,185 FTE).

Weeks per annum: 39 weeks per year – term time.

Closing Date: Monday 1st June.

Interview Date: TBC – W/C 1st June.

Start Date: As soon as possible.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our collaborative academy, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect. The role will involve working with a child with complex needs under the guidance of a Class Teacher. An understanding of SEMH would definitely be an advantage.

At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peters Church. Our small size (currently 195 children, including a nursery) means we know all our children and families well, and can ensure we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values-respecting environment.
