We are currently seeking an able and emotionally resilient administrator to join our busy Clinical Admin Team. This important customer focussed role acts as an interface with patients and their families as well as healthcare professionals and external stakeholders who wish to refer to St Christopher’s services. The Clinical Admin team routinely provide the administration support for Community teams across Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham (LSL), as well as supporting Social Work, Welfare and Bereavement, CBT and Supportive Care.
Clinical Administrators work flexibly to cover the clinical admin demands across all clinical areas, including the SPoC service rota, which runs across a 7-day week, 364 days a year. Each Clinical Administrator is required to work as part of an on-call weekend rota, frequency to be agreed.
Responsibilities
- You will be skilled in performing administrative tasks and duties, which should include entering patient data into an electronic system with accuracy and speed.
- You will excel at working as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- You should possess excellent customer service skills including a good telephone manner and excellent listening skills.
- It is also important that you understand the need to safeguard our vulnerable adults, and you are able prioritise large workloads successfully.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in administrative tasks and data entry into electronic systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Excellent customer service skills, including telephone manner and listening skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adults and ability to prioritise large workloads.
