L3 Teaching Assistant 13.75 hours per week - Afternoons, Term time only. Permanent position. Location: Reception. Salary: £29,064 - £32,061 per annum pro rata (Actual salary £9,290.18 - £10,248.16). Start Date: September 2026.

Overview: St Christophers Catholic Primary Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, child‑centred and Level 3 qualified teaching assistant with experience supporting children in school. The role offers an opportunity to work with a fantastic team and inspiring students.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for supporting pupils as individuals, in small groups and in the whole class setting.
  • Have an understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
  • Know how to safeguard young children and make a positive contribution to their well‑being.
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to achieve the above.
  • Paediatric first aid is an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Level 3 qualified teaching assistant.
  • Experience of supporting children in school.
