Term Time Contract for Services. Deliver high-quality vocal instruction to students of all ages and abilities, supporting their musical and technical development and preparing them for performances and examinations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging singing lessons tailored to individual student needs.
  • Teach techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and repertoire appropriate for each student.
  • Motivate students and foster a love of music.
  • Prepare students for performances and examinations (ABRSM, Trinity, RSL, GCSE, A Level).
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and the Director of Music.

Qualifications

  • Recognised music qualification in singing (degree, diploma, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching singing across various ages and abilities.
  • Knowledge of ABRSM, Trinity and RSL examination requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to tailor lessons and create a positive learning environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and flexibility.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, equality and data protection.
