Help Create Meaningful Days for People Living with Complex Needs

We're seeking a Wellbeing Co-ordinator to join our team and help enrich the lives of residents living with complex nursing, physical and care needs, including those living with dementia. No two days are the same. One day you may be leading a reminiscence session or coffee morning, the next supporting a resident to reconnect with a lifelong hobby, arranging a community visit or planning a special themed event.

About the Role

As a Wellbeing Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for promoting residents' emotional, social, physical and cognitive wellbeing through meaningful activities and engagement. You will work closely with residents, families, nurses and care staff to ensure every person is supported to remain connected, active and involved in daily life, regardless of their health needs or abilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering meaningful one-to-one and group wellbeing activities
  • Supporting residents living with dementia and complex nursing needs
  • Planning and organising events, celebrations and outings
  • Encouraging independence, choice and participation
  • Building positive relationships with residents and families
  • Recording wellbeing outcomes and activity participation
  • Working closely with care and nursing teams
  • Collaborating with the second Wellbeing Co-ordinator to create larger events and experiences

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Kind, patient and compassionate
  • Creative and enthusiastic
  • Confident communicating with people from all backgrounds
  • Organised and able to use their own initiative
  • Passionate about person-centred care and wellbeing
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Experience in care, activities, wellbeing or dementia support would be desirable but is not essential for the right person.

What We Offer:

  • A rewarding role where every day makes a difference
  • Supportive management and friendly colleagues
  • Opportunities to introduce your own ideas and interests
  • Ongoing training and development
  • A welcoming and person-centred nursing home environment
  • Competitive pay and benefits:
    • Bank holiday pay
    • Paid breaks
    • Same rate of pay regardless of age
    • Rewards for service – supplement to your hourly rate after successful completion of 1, 2 and 3 years
    • Perkbox – Access to a range of free perks and over 1,000 discounts from the biggest brands
    • FlexEarn - access your wages at any time
    • Cycle to Work scheme
    • Happy Birthday Day Off – after 1 year service celebrate your birthday with a day's leave on us
    • Long service awards for milestones of service from 5 years to 35 years+ (in 5-year increments), starting at £100 gift voucher for 5 years' service
    • Saint Cecilia's Care Awards recognising and rewarding employees that have gone the extra mile at work and made a difference in our homes.
    • Referral scheme – earn up to £250 for referring a friend to the team
    • Training and development opportunities
    • A supportive, friendly team environment

If you have the creativity, compassion and enthusiasm to help people live well every day, we'd love to hear from you. At Jubilee House Nursing Home, you're not just a Wellbeing Coordinator, you're part of a family.
