Bank/Relief Cook Position covering annual leave, sickness, and periods of increased demand within our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus and residents' dietary requirements
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service
  • Ensure the kitchen remains clean, safe and compliant with food safety regulations
  • Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team as required
  • Work collaboratively with care staff and management to provide an excellent dining experience for residents

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experienced Cook or Chef with a passion for preparing nutritious meals
  • Organised, dependable and capable of working confidently in a busy kitchen
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety and compliance standards
  • Flexible team player able to adapt quickly and maintain high standards
  • Experience catering for a variety of dietary and nutritional needs desirable
