Bank/Relief Cook Position covering annual leave, sickness, and periods of increased demand within our kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus and residents' dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service
- Ensure the kitchen remains clean, safe and compliant with food safety regulations
- Support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team as required
- Work collaboratively with care staff and management to provide an excellent dining experience for residents
Qualifications and Experience
- Experienced Cook or Chef with a passion for preparing nutritious meals
- Organised, dependable and capable of working confidently in a busy kitchen
- Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety and compliance standards
- Flexible team player able to adapt quickly and maintain high standards
- Experience catering for a variety of dietary and nutritional needs desirable
