Care Worker - Days at Saint Cecilia's Nursing Home
Position type: Full-time / Part-time
Location:Saint Cecilia's Nursing Home, 19 Filey Rd, Scarborough YO11 2SE
Hours: 38.25 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Day Shifts - 7:15am to 8:00pm
Weekend Work Expected: Every other weekend, with flexibility to cover annual leave
Rate of pay: £12.75 per hour

As a Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. Your presence and reassurance can make a real difference during the quieter hours when compassionate care matters most.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks
- Assisting with meals, drinks and snacks, ensuring comfort and dignity
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Working closely with nurses and senior staff to deliver high-quality care
- Maintaining accurate records and following care plans
- Helping create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment on every shift
