Qualifications
- Educated to A level or equivalent, with grade A-C GCSE level in English and Maths.
- Management training.
- Professional fundraising training.
- Chartered Institute of Fundraising membership/qualification or equivalent.
- Full driving licence and access to vehicle for business use.
Experience
- Experience in a management level role.
- Significant experience in a fundraising role.
- Experience in at least two of the following fields: Regular Giving, Lottery, Appeals, In memory giving, Legacy Marketing, Mid Value programmes.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining a customer or donor focused environment, with the ability to provide excellent donor care to supporters.
- Demonstrable experience of developing plans for and delivering exceptional stewardship and/or donor care.
- Demonstrable experience of leading or managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Demonstrable experience of identifying a donor or customer's potential and acting to maximise this potential.
- Demonstrable experience of delegating tasks in order to achieve objectives.
- Experience of developing plans, strategies, objectives, targets and budgets.
- Experience of using insight to inform decisions or work.
- Excellent team skills, including leadership skills, with an ability to work across teams and in project groups.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and manage colleagues and volunteers.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience of making asks.
- Experience of being an ambassador and building strong working relationships, internally and externally.
- Experience of producing compelling and impactful written materials which inspire and motivate.
- Demonstrable experience of managing suppliers, ensuring a cost-effective service is delivered.
