We are seeking a weekend Advice Line Assistant to be the frontline voice for referrals and queries to St Catherine's.
Job responsibilities
The Role:
This post is offered on a permanent, part-time basis, working 15 hours per week. These hours are worked Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm.
Advice Line Assistant role will bring:
- Handling calls from patients, families and professionals with sensitivity
- Providing customer service and administrative support to help operate our 365-day service
- Keeping accurate records of all calls and ensuring confidentiality
- Fostering positive working relationships with internal and external colleagues, supporters and the general public
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to at least GCSE C in English and Maths
- Evidence of continuing personal and professional development
- Qualification (RSA) in Secretarial/Administration or equivalent administrative experience
Experience
- Excellent communication both verbal and written, interpersonal and the ability to communicate matters clearly and precisely.
