The community engagement team supports fundraisers in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble who hold a variety of events to support the work of the hospice. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with good people skills who are happy to represent us at cheque presentations and events.
Volunteer Community Ambassador takes on an incredible role for St Catherine's. They ensure we are visible and valued within the community. It is an Ad Hoc role meaning you are able to volunteer when you are available in one or more of the following ways:
- Delivering short thank‐you talks on why donations are so important to the hospice.
- Supporting St Catherine's locally by spreading the word through campaigning, putting up posters on local notice boards, and using your social media accounts to spread the word about our events.
- Other ad‐hoc St Catherine's events and collections at supermarkets/retail sites, festivals and other locations.
- Supporting the collection and delivery of St Catherine's collection boxes.
The Skills You Need:
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Good communication skills.
