At St Catherine’s Hospice, we’ve recently launched a refreshed brand to support our business goals —and we’re looking for a Digital Marketing Officer who’s excited to help bring it to life across our digital channels and grow income and engagement. This is a new and important role for someone who wants to make a difference—improving how we connect with supporters online, increasing our visibility, and driving income through smarter digital activity. From SEO and paid campaigns to website optimisation, your work will help us grow our reach, deepen engagement, and ensure our digital presence truly reflects the care and compassion we provide every day, whilst supporting the income generation we need to support the local community.
About The Role
- Improve Online User Experience: Update and improve the website using the content management system. Liaise with internal teams and agencies to ensure the website features up-to-date information, is high-performing, user-friendly and accessible.
- Lead and Optimise Digital Campaigns: Plan, deliver and evaluate paid digital advertising across platforms, including Google Ads and social media, to support income generation and awareness.
- Support Data-Driven Communications: Work closely with the CRM Manager to deliver targeted email campaigns and automated digital journeys aligned with supporter engagement goals.
- Improve Online Visibility: Manage SEO strategy and work with internal teams and agencies to ensure the website is high-performing, user-friendly and accessible.
- Drive Insight and Compliance: Monitor and report on digital performance using analytics tools, ensure GDPR compliance, and apply insights to continuously improve activity.
What We’re Looking For
- Digital Marketing Experience: Proven track record in managing website content through CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) delivering SEO and paid digital advertising. Experience with tools like Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and GA4 is essential.
- Analytical and Data-Led Thinking: Confident interpreting campaign performance data and using insights to refine and improve activity.
- Organised and Collaborative: Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Technically Capable: Understanding of digital platforms, campaign metrics, and GDPR compliance. Comfortable using analytics and digital marketing tools.
- Creative and Content-Aware: Familiar with digital storytelling, social content, and user-focused copy. Experience with influencer activity or organic social is a bonus.
- Values-Driven: Emotionally intelligent, respectful, and committed to the hospice’s values, with the resilience to work in a sensitive care environment.
