We are looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our school team to make a meaningful difference to our children's learning environment! This role offers a varied and interesting range of responsibilities related to the upkeep of our buildings and grounds to ensure that the school remains a safe, secure and inviting environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.

We are seeking to appoint an individual:
- To undertake tasks that maintain and enhance the school overall appearance, safety, security, cleanliness and efficiency and are able to handle manual tasks.
- With the ability to prioritise work and have a proactive approach to problem solving.
- With the ability to work efficiently using good organisational skills.
- Who can work well as part of a team and is able to follow direction and work in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Able to work flexibly, adopt a hands-on approach and respond to unplanned situations, being flexible with changing tasks or unexpected situations.
- Able to quickly address issues such as minor repairs or emergencies as directed.
- Committed to the highest standards of child protection and safeguarding.
- With an understanding of the importance of personal responsibility for health and safety.
- Who is dependable and trustworthy with tasks and schedules and with good communication skills.
- Who can ensure cleanliness, safety checks and proper maintenance - with basic technical or safety knowledge.
- Who has an understanding of health and safety protocols and equipment handling and is able to undertake mandatory training as and when needed using basic computer skills.
