Casual Exam Invigilator at St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Scunthorpe

About this Role

This is a great opportunity tobecome part of our highly professional, friendly, support team.

You will have a \"can do\"attitude and are practical, calm, energetic and diligent. Previous experiencewould be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

As well as ensuring exam boardregulations are adhered to throughout the exam process and that theexaminations run smoothly, Exam Invigilators will also assist with setting upthe exams hall, distributing and collecting exam papers and ensuring studentsare seated according to seating plans.

Although most of our studentswill sit exams in our dedicated exams hall, our Exams Invigilators may alsoneed to give additional support to those students sitting exams individually bybecoming a reader and/or scribe.

Flexibility of hours to beworked is essential. Mock exams run in November and March, with the mainexternal exam season running from May to July. Morning sessions start at8.30am, generally finishing around 11.30am, afternoon sessions start at12.30pm, usually finishing by 3.10pm. Exact dates would be confirmed well inadvance, with the possibility of additional sessions being offered later asunexpected situations arise.
