We are seeking to appoint six exceptional Exam Invigilators to join our school. St Bede’s Catholic School and Byron Sixth Form College is part of the Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust, one of four trusts in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The Trust comprises five secondary schools and twenty‑five primary schools across South Tyneside, Sunderland and East Durham.
Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We follow South Tyneside Child Protection Procedures, and an Enhanced DBS check is required for all staff. An online search will also be conducted for shortlisted candidates. Electronic signatures will be accepted initially; however, a written signature will be required at a later stage. This post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required as part of pre‑employment checks.
