We are seeking an inspiring, dedicated and forward-thinking Teacher of Maths to join our successful and supportive Mathematics department at St Bede’s Catholic College to cover maternity leave on a 0.8 or full-time contract from 8th June 2026 until 6th June 2027 (or earlier return of post holder). Start date of 1st September will be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is committed to high-quality teaching and learning and to raising standards and outcomes for all students. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued success of the Mathematics department, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students and support them to make excellent progress. They will work collaboratively with the Head of Department and colleagues within the Maths team to ensure high expectations, consistency of approach and a positive learning experience for all learners.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Maths, will enjoy working with young people, and will have high expectations of themselves, colleagues and students. They will be committed to developing their own classroom practice and contributing positively to a collaborative and reflective department.
