We are seeking a dynamic, high‑achieving graduate with excellent communication skills to join our innovative team. Responsibilities

  • Teach all students with expertise, enthusiasm, and support, contributing to the College's House system.
  • Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in implementing College policy to maintain the aims and ethos.
  • Act as a caring, effective, engaged, confident, creative, and reflective practitioner in line with Professional Teacher Standards.
  • Support the Catholic ethos of the College, upholding high professional conduct standards at all times.
  • Plan work in accordance with College policy and the subject area scheme of work.
  • Use professional judgment and students' prior attainment to set appropriate, demanding learning targets.
  • Assess, record, and report on students' development, progress, and attainment.
  • Set high standards for appearance, punctuality, motivation and behaviour, adhering to advice from staff induction, the Staff Handbook, and College policies.
  • Create a purposeful, stimulating learning environment, including classroom design and displays.
  • Liaise with colleagues for collaborative planning.
  • Liaise with the Inclusion Team to differentiate teaching so all students are appropriately challenged.
  • Participate in performance appraisal and further professional development as agreed nationally.
  • Supervise and, where necessary, cover classes outside the timetable, subject to teacher availability.
  • Comply with reasonable requests from a manager or Headteacher to undertake work of a similar level not specified in this description.
