Job Title: Support Administrator – Solihull (Fixed Term Contract)
Reports to: Team Leader
Salary: Scale 4, Point 24, £24,570 per annum pro rota
Hours of work: Part Time (18.75 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed Term until September 2026

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to Homeless Prevention Workers (HPW) to enable efficient office operation.
- Support the Solihull Pathway Projects as required.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to requests, take messages and liaise with appropriate Officers in the hub.
- Ensure referrals are picked up promptly on the shared email & Jigsaw Dashboard.
- Send out Duty to Refer (DTR) information upon request.
- Liaise with the contact centre and advance referrals to the Homeless Prevention Coordinator.
- Maintain an appointment‑based system to enhance service delivery and book appointments for young people.
- Distribute feedback forms to young people for completion.
- Administer meetings: prepare agendas and papers, and take minutes.
- Keep displays around the Youth hub up‑to‑date and relevant.
- Support the wider team with additional tasks when required.
- Assist with the weekly preparation of duty rota’s.
- Arrange partnership events for the hub as needed.
- Complete incident and accident reports.
Data Duties
- Administer day/savers and food bank vouchers, maintaining records for reporting.
- Assist the Team Leader with petty cash administration and record‑keeping.
- Complete monthly and quarterly reporting data for the Data Officer.
- Ensure the hub’s monthly, quarterly and annual reporting timetable is followed.
Qualifications
Essential:
- English Language and Mathematics to GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent qualifications.
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 Advice & Guidance, Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Role Experience
Essential:
- Office experience / ability to work to deadlines.
- Experience managing and analysing complex project statistical data.
- Delivering frontline triage or assessment services.
Desirable:
- Experience working with young people in settings such as Youth Work, Residential or Social Work, Probation, Community Work, Education and Training, or Housing.
Knowledge
Essential:
- Knowledge of and commitment to equal opportunities and anti‑discriminatory practice.
- Ability to work with figures and to maintain and improve standards.
