We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join us on 1 September 2026 on a permanent basis. We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic individual able to offer strong administrative support in a variety of tasks. With excellent communication skills you will organise recruitment programmes, liaising with candidates and the Leadership Team, carry out a range of safeguarding checks to ensure our compliance with the Safer Recruitment Guidelines for Schools and keep our HR/Payroll system accurate and up to date.
You will be confident working independently as part of our Human Resources team and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively to meet deadlines, with excellent levels of attention to detail and accuracy and a can-do approach.
HOURS: 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 3.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 3.00pm (please note that start time on interview days may be from 8.00am), term-time only, plus 5 days pro rata during the school holidays and 5 training days pro rata.
SALARY: £28,142.00 - £30,024.00 gross pa (£14.59 - £15.56 per hour), pro rata for part-time, term-time. Starting salary equates to £21,378.28 gross pa.
St Bart’s is a leading academy school (1996 on roll with a Sixth Form of 639) in West Berkshire. Road links are good as we are close to the A34 and M4, as well as excellent public transport and within walking distance of Newbury train station.
