Salary: Grade 13: £24,027 FTE (Actual Salary £3,809.61 based on weeks worked and hours)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 7 Hours per week (Monday to Friday) Term Time only to exclude inset days (38 Weeks)

The Role:

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and positive behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime period.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess a positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills while also capable of using initiative.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain warmth, care, and full commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.
  • Consistently maintain a calm approach in interactions with children.
  • Support the school's approach to outdoor play, embracing our 'whatever the weather' ethos.
  • Act as a vital link between children, lunchbreak staff, and other school staff.
  • Be willing to fully participate in training and professional development.
  • Adhere strictly to standards of confidentiality.

Fluency Duty: This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
