Responsibilities

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree or relevant professional qualification.
- QTS.
- Record of recent and relevant in-service training.
- Willingness to further own professional development.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Team player and committed to team working across groups of schools as a Trust.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise, use initiative and good time management.
- Able to follow Trust curriculum systems, contributing to their design and development.
- Actively seek to maintain and develop the Christian ethos of the school.
- IT literate with experience of a range of teaching aids.
- Willingness to support strong links with parents, local governors, the Church and colleagues across the Trust.
- Ability to plan for the use of additional adult support.
- Experience of assessment across the primary ages.
- Aware of current primary educational initiatives and issues.
- A commitment to safeguarding.
- Experience of teaching across age phases or willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Experience of teaching in the appropriate age range.
- Experience of assessment across all age phases or willingness to learn.
- Be able to support the ethos of an exciting learning environment through the creative use of displays.
- A practising Christian.
Employment Details
This role is 0.8 FTE (4 days per week), on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. The position may be closed early if filled before the closing date.
