Wraparound Care Assistant
Join the team at Antony Cof E Primary School to provide welcoming, stimulating and safe wrap‑around care for pupils during breakfast and after‑school periods.
This term‑time only, part‑time role supports children’s learning by engaging them in a variety of activities while liaising with parents and upholding safeguarding standards.
- Working Hours
- Breakfast Club – 07:30 to 08:45, Monday to Friday
- After School Club – 15:15 to 17:30, Monday to Friday
- Total: 17.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging play and learning activities that align with the school’s educational vision.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for pupils during breakfast and after‑school time.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding pupil progress and any concerns.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of child protection.
- Assist with meal preparation and snack distribution as required.
- Support the smooth running of the breakfast and after‑school clubs, including supervising and monitoring pupils.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a school or childcare setting.
- Highly organised, with strong planning and communication skills.
- Knowledge of child safeguarding and high safeguarding standards.
- Willful readiness to obtain an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
- Committed to ongoing training and professional development.
