Who Were Looking For

  • A Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
  • Experience in community or palliative care nursing
  • Able to perform the role with empathy and consideration for the needs of patients and their families.
  • Able to adapt effectively to varying levels of demand as driven by patient needs or as directed by the line manager.

Access to independent transport to visit patients in their own homes as required by the role and a willingness to work in other areas of the Trust on occasions are essential

Main duties of the job

  • Rotation to our other clinical services (i.e. Inpatient unit) to support continuing professional development and revalidation
  • Dying to Communicate & Advance Care Planning Courses completed within 12 months
  • Opportunities for further advanced development in specialist skills & academic development
  • Preceptorship & mentoring, as well as access to clinical supervision.
