Do you bring a warm, friendly, confident personality that can help learning come to life? Do you have specialist knowledge in Palliative and End of Life Care? We have a vacancy for a Clinical Educator to work as part of the Education Team. This exciting position gives the opportunity to design, write and deliver high quality training and education courses from our Education Prospectus to St Barnabas colleagues and external clients such as healthcare organisations and professionals across the wider healthcare system.

You will work closely with a range of people, including St Barnabas senior clinicians, external clients, external education providers and clinical experts to inform Trust practice. Whilst the role is predominantly the delivery of taught courses, you will also have the opportunity to retain a level of clinical focus delivering clinical skills sessions to both internal and external staff. We are passionate about making education engaging; our ethos is to make our training sessions interactive and memorable, so people want to return and learn more! This makes this educator role unique and fun!

You will have the opportunity to be visible right across St Barnabas, working alongside clinical colleagues and students on placement, allowing you to identify needs and shape the education programmes required within our Inpatient and community settings.

Hours: 37.5 - part time / job share applications welcome. There may be opportunities for additional hours within other departments.

Main duties of the job Qualifications and Experience: Applications are welcome from candidates who are educated to degree level, hold a professional clinical registration and have significant experience working in both educational and palliative and end of life care settings. Ideally, you will have a passion for education and experience in teaching.
