We’re seeking a driver's mate/warehouse operative to work at our Wimborne Depot between May and September. Â
As a dedicated member of the Distribution team, you'll be working both in the warehouse and out on the road as a driver's mate. In the warehouse, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining St Austell Brewery's fantastic reputation across the South West. You'll be responsible for picking stock and operating pallet truck equipment. Â
As a driver's mate, you'll be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering an exceptional level of service will ensure goods are kept in pristine condition every step of the way. The distribution function forms an integral part of St Austell Brewery, and scheduling is a priority. You’ll be working closely with other key stakeholders across the business within our Sales and Distribution teams.Â
About you:Â
- Experience operating MHE equipment
- A counterbalance forklift licence would be preferable
- Previous experience working within a multi-drop environment.
- A positive 'can do' approach to all tasks
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- High levels of energy and enthusiasm.
- A good working knowledge of health & safety and best practice
