The Role
We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a first-class service through accurate, efficient and on-time deliveries.
This is an active role involving a wide range of general warehouse duties, including goods in, put away, stock movements, order picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch. You’ll also support stock taking and help maintain a clean, organised and safe depot.
This is a busy, hands-on environment involving regular manual handling of heavy goods. Health and safety, accuracy, customer service and brilliant teamwork are all key priorities for the role.
What you'll be doing
· Safely carrying out stock movements, including goods in, put away, SKU movements, replenishments and order building.
· Using forklifts, ride-on pallet trucks and other material handling equipment (MHE) where required.
· Picking customer orders accurately and preparing them for dispatch.
· Supporting the timely and accurate dispatch of customer orders.
· Completing all necessary warehouse administration to the required standards.
· Carrying out pre-use checks on MHE and reporting any defects or issues.
· Supporting stock checks and stock taking activities.
· Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation throughout the warehouse.
· Following all health and safety procedures and reporting accidents, incidents and hazards.
· Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and customer requirements are met.

· The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· The ability to carry out repetitive manual handling of heavy goods in a busy warehouse environment.
· The ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.
· Previous warehouse or similar experience involving manual handling would be desirable but is not essential.
· Experience using forklifts, ride-on pallet trucks or other MHE would be desirable.
