The Harbour Inn overlooks picture-postcard Porthleven, Britain’s most southerly port and a town that buzzes throughout the year with festivals and maritime activity. Perched along the waterfront, the scenic pub takes in an enviable vista across a quaint collection of fishing boats and out to the open ocean. You’ll be working in a beautiful corner of Cornwall that’s blessed with dramatic coastal walks. Are you an enthusiastic Head Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, cooking with locally sourced produce to supply quality food that delights our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Front the Kitchen and Back of House Team, taking pride in overseeing a quality food offering that delights our guests.
  • Be well organised, adaptable, with a genuine passion for what you do.
  • Take pride in delivering a consistent, high quality food offering.
  • Combine great product knowledge with a practical understanding of daily operations in a busy kitchen.
  • Understand budgets and sales targets, and play a vital part in helping to achieve them.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic Head Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to oversee a kitchen team.
  • A passion for cooking with locally sourced produce and delivering excellent guest experiences.
