The Masons Arms dates back to the 14th-century and resides in one of the South West’s most picturesque villages. Passing beneath its cosy thatched roof, you’ll be working in a characterful pub with comfy rooms. The interior charms with timber frames, low beamed ceilings, and the warmth of a log fire. Branscombe is an idyllic rural destination that’s surrounded by rolling green hills, with its own beach being a short stroll from the pub.

Fantastic seasonal opportunity! Are you a versatile Sous Chef with experience of working in a fast‑paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you’ll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests.

As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu‑writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.
