Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with operations teams, spending a significant amount of time out in trade to support events and campaigns at a site level.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners and third party drinks suppliers to support event activations and brand engagement.
  • Assist with the marketing of key brand partnerships and sponsorships, spanning PR, digital, social, and branding.
  • Lead the delivery of events across St Austell Brewery’s managed pub estate, including scoping proposals, managing budgets, and creating timing schedules.
  • Assist the Pub Marketing Manager with key campaign deliverables such as photography shoots, promotions, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Help coordinate consumer research and customer feedback to inform brand plans and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Generate brand specific PR in collaboration with the comms team, supporting storytelling and managed house news.
  • Work with internal and external teams, including design, print, and digital agencies, to deliver plans in line with the pub marketing strategy.
  • Manage timings, communicate key deadlines, and ensure projects are executed as planned.
  • Provide light-touch marketing support to our tenanted pub teams, including best practice sharing, campaign support, and attending relevant meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A dynamic and organised marketer with experience in both traditional and digital marketing channels.
  • Experience in marketing, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering marketing and brand plans.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • A problem solver with personal drive, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, actively contributing and building relationships across the business.
  • A passion for hospitality and the Great British pub.
  • A flexible, hands on approach with a willingness to travel regularly across the South West to work closely with pub teams.

What we offer in return:

  • 25 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays).
  • 30% discount on food & drink and 50% discount on accommodation.
  • Discounted membership with local businesses.
