Do you have production skills or experience and looking to further your career?
If so, we have an exciting development opportunity available within our packaging
team at our state-of-the-art site brewery in Warmley, Bristol.

You’ll be supported through a nationally recognised Level 3 apprenticeship
while gaining real-time, hands-on experience across our Canning, Bottling and
Kegging operations, where we produce over 12 million cans and bottles of our
award-winning beers, including Korev, Tribute and Proper Job. The
apprenticeship will foster a deep understanding of the packaging process as
well as an overall understanding of the wider brewery operations whilst
offering a pathway into a growing business.

What it\’s like to be a Packaging Operative

You’ll work across multiple packaging lines, learning how to operate
machinery from start-up to clean down, problem solve technical issues, perform
changeovers, and ensure food safety and quality standards are met. You will
work closely with our Packaging Leads, gradually taking on more responsibility,
rotating through a variety of tasks designed to stretch and grow your capability.

You’ll also work alongside other
production teams including Brewing, Maintenance, Quality, and Distribution –
ensuring you get a holistic view of operations in a large-scale, fast-paced
brewery.

We are not able to offer sponsorship for this
role. To be eligible for government-funded apprenticeship training, you must
have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 years and hold legal permission to
work and remain in the UK for the full duration of the apprenticeship.

About You

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a production/packaging environment
    or similar
  • Able to work our weekly rotating earlies/lates shift pattern
    (06:00-2:30pm, 13:30-22:00)
  • Positive and proactive mindset, confident
    communicator, hands on learner
  • Interested in technical operations,
    enjoys working in practical/fast-moving environments, takes pride in the
    end product
  • Counterbalance FLT licence desirable (or
    willingness/capability to be trained)
  • Working knowledge of food safety (HACCP)
    is desirable

Additional Info

This role will require you to
work two different shift patterns: 6am to 2.30pm and 1.30pm to 10pm.
